Membership
Do I have to be a member to shop here?
Everyone is welcome to shop — membership is never required. Becoming a member-owner simply unlocks pricing, dividends, and a vote in how the co-op runs.
How much does it cost to become a member-owner?
A one-time $200 equity share makes you an owner for life. There are no annual fees and no monthly dues — your share is yours.
Can I pay for my share over time?
Yes — we offer installment plans so you can spread the one-time share across several payments. Ask any cashier to get started.
What is a patronage dividend?
In profitable years, the co-op returns a portion of surplus to member-owners based on how much they shopped — money back in your pocket.

What are your hours?
We are open seven days a week, 7am to 9pm, every day of the year — including holidays.
Where are you located?
Mountain Avenue Market is at 1100 W Mountain Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80521, just west of downtown with free on-site parking.
Do you have a bulk section?
Our expansive bulk department lets you buy exactly what you need — bring your own jars and reduce packaging waste.
Do you offer deli and catering?
Our in-house deli makes fresh prepared foods daily, and we cater gatherings of any size. Ask about special orders, too.

Local & Sourcing
Where does your food come from?
We source from 120+ Northern Colorado producers —cmost within 100 miles of the store — alongside trusted regional and organic suppliers.
How do you decide what to stock?
Because we are member-owned, our owners help shape the shelves. We prioritize local, organic, and transparently labeled goods.
Do you accept SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks?
Yes — we proudly participate in Colorado’s Double Up Food Bucks program, matching SNAP dollars on fresh fruits and vegetables.
